Brain Stroke Miracle Healing 10

October 23, 2009 · Print This Article

Before I get into the real reasons behind Stroke Tom I want to talk about another aspect of my Brain Stroke Miracle Healing.  Some will call it luck.  Some will call it good sense.  Others may wonder why I’m talking about it at all.

But in my life it’s a 100% gold plated Miracle Healing.

I’m sure I mentioned that I don’t remember much about the three days I spent in ICU deciding if I’d live or die.

I do, however, remember floating around ICU on occasion.  Spying on the nurses, watching other patients, listening in on conversations.   Then somebody would come running into the room and spoil my out of body experience.  They’d shut off the buzzers and mess with me until I was “safely” back in my half dead body chocking and gurgling once again.

Imagine floating peacefully on a rubber raft in a lagoon on a tropical island paradise in the South Pacific.  Now, this is the greatest peace you’ve ever known.  You have absolutely no cares or concerns.  Money, obligation, health, all your earthly concerns amount to “nada”.

You are at peace and you are loving the beauty of creation.

Then ZAP!  Just like that an invisible tether attached to your heart grabs you, rips you from your tropical paradise and drags you at the speed of light back into the most painful and hopeless situation of your life.  All this accompanied by a loud, high-pitched squeal akin to scraping a blackboard with a nail.  Only much louder and a lot more disturbing.

Talk about a wake up call.

Boy, it’s hard to talk about this stuff.  It dredges up memories I had mercifully forgotten.  Still, I know I must tell my story.

Because that’s what I must do.  I am called to tell you what I am about to say.

Yes, it was painful.  Yes, I wanted to stay out of my body.  But I had a decision to make and I needed help.  Not just from the multitudes of Divine Hosts, Angels and Guides.   Not just from the brilliant and colorful waves of healing and love I received from good people around the world.

I also needed the hands-on, physical help I received from the doctors, nurses and therapists in Saddleback Hospital.

Here again is my Miracle Healing shining bright.  Not only was I divinely directed to one of the best facilities and staffs for dealing with strokes.  Not only did they provide me with world-class care, they made sure I had a bod to come back to.   All this despite my best efforts to be a monumental pain-in-the-backside.

The miracle is I had the money to pay for it all.  Some $300,000.00+ and counting.  And no, it wasn’t all my money.

Turns out strokes aren’t cheap.  And there’s no time to work a deal when you’re having one.  The miracle of earthly miracles is that we had health insurance.

“Trust God and tie your camel.”

Now, I must admit I fought getting health insurance tooth and nail all my life.  In fact, out of 41 years of marriage we’ve had health insurance 7 years.

All because of Diane.  And every time she raised hell and demanded it, we wound up needing it.  I believe she’s an angel sent from heaven to keep me straight and well.

I actually have proof that’s true.  But that story involves a Black Sabbath, Halloween, beer party and a magically appearing Cajun White Witch.

That probably doesn’t belong here.

Yes, I thank God I had good health insurance.  If I hadn’t I don’t know what would have happened to me.  I know I wouldn’t have been in that hospital very long.  If at all.

I probably wouldn’t be ambulatory and certainly not writing this blog, today.

Health Insurance is absolutely necessary.  But why in God’s green earth does it have to cost so darn much?!

Next year it will cost us almost $30,000 just to have coverage.  Hell, some people don’t even make that much.  It’s not right.  It’s not moral.  It’s not humane.  It’s not Christian or Moslem or Buddhist.  And it’s definitely not good for this struggling economy.

Worst of all, it’s just not necessary. We have the power to change things.

I’m lucky.  One-third of the country doesn’t have health insurance because they can’t afford it.  62% of all bankruptcies are the result of health care bills.  And 65% of American’s want change.

Can’t we do something?  Obviously, anything is better than what we have.  Most of the arguments against change are just plain fear.  FEAR we will lose out on something.  FEAR it will cost too much.  FEAR of what we don’t know.

FEAR and greed.  The insurance companies like things the way they are.  It makes trillions for a select few.

Well, I’m not afraid to say I know what it’s like to need an insurance card to get help.  Boy, that changes everything.  When you’re experiencing a painful, maybe life threatening event, all you want is help.  You don’t think about politics or what the media has to say. All you want is help, fast.

And that requires buckets full of cash.  Or an insurance card.

Let’s make it so no one will ever be denied care again.  If not for your own sake, then for your human brothers and sisters.  You can effect change just by adjusting your attitude.

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”  All the messengers of God have said a variation of that Devine Directive.

Why are we even arguing about this?  Let God do the heavy lifting.

Write:  I have the correct Health Insurance for me.
It covers  my needs.
It is easily paid for.
It’s for my highest Good.
It is good for all concerned.
I am thrilled with it.

Stand up to FEAR every chance you get.  Open you heart to Universal Love.  Allow your heart to guide you and your life will always be blessed.

I love you so much for all your support and your love.   I wouldn’t be here without it.  Thank you for allowing me this pointedly American rant.

You can’t out give the Universe.

Tom – I am very grateful that you were guided to such an extraordinary healing facility, and chose to “return,” in order to share your experiences, from both the “in body,” and the “out of body” points of view.
I am very moved that you felt compelled to speak about the outrageous, and unnecessary cost of healthcare in America. Although I absolutely agree there must be a shift in attitude regarding this all important issue, that may be easier said than done for some Americans, whose doctors are warning them in private about the supposed menace of “nationalized” or “socialized” medicine.
As solely an educational tool, you may want to suggest the viewing of Michael Moore’s documentary, “Sicko.” Although Mr. Moore is considered by some to be controversial, he is well known for fact-checking the information in his films, and this one is truly an eye-opener.
I, personally, find it easier to make an attitude adjustment, after gaining some perspective of the issues at hand, and this documentary is both informative, and engaging.
May you continue have a full recovery.

    All My Best,
    Rosalie

    Dear Tom,
First, I am SO grateful, thankful and full of love for you that you have
chosen to return to us all. I went thru a stroke with my mother, but it
was not anywhere as severe as yours. She did return to full speech
and even driving her car….a volkswagon convertable. She was famous in the town of Boynton Beach, Fla. Folks would hear her
moter, and they’d say, “Here comes Ruth!”
So I’m going to envision you driving your car again, out in the desert or whereever!!! It may take awhile, but I know you will get “ungrounded”
in time. I see it, know it, know it!!!! People are saying “Here comes
Tom!!!” or “There goes Tom!!!! as the case may be!!!!
Your words about medical ins. are very strong and very true.
I am a great fan of Michael Moore and his films. Just as an aside,
I am a retired teacher and never paid for health ins. my entire life.
School districts always had that covered. Imagine my surprise,
when I signed up for medicare. there is a monthly fee!!! 100 a month..
Which doesn’t sound like much, but on my retirement limits, it takes a heafty chunk!!
Being of able mind and body, I am starting my own life coaching business…..retire is not a verb for me!! And you are inspiring me
to go give to those who need me……
I love what you say, you can’t out give the Universe.
And thank goodness for Saddleback hospital!!!!
Know that you are in my thoughts and heart and prayers.
Thank you for sharing your story.

OK, now you’ve gone to medlin’. But Praise God you had it. / Just as confirmation on the wife thing. My wife seems to have that sense too, when things are important! On the birth of our fourth child we were so hoping for a girl that we didn’t even pick out a boys name – just a girls name. ( and didn’t check what the baby was via ultrasound). 5min before the baby stuck it’s head out. My wife demanded we get a boy’s name picked out. Right then and there I knew it was going to be a boy, and no amount of positive confession was going to change it around. So much for mankind knowing how the world REALLY works.

Being from the UK I’m not qualified to comment on health care in the US, but I can let you know of my experience of our – much maligned – National Health Service.

I have a father with a dicky heart, a father in law with chronic asthma and a mother in law with a very rare and life threatening condition. All three are cared for ( expertly in my opinion) by dedicated health professionals. Over the last two years they have racked up between them nearly 3 months in hospital, 4 operations and countless appointments with consultants from a wide variety of disciplines. Before the end of the month my father in law will have had a pacemaker fitted.

Please don’t get me wrong, the National Health Service is not perfect by any means and I’m sure there is a better model, but as, at least, a basis for a fundemental human right it is a good start. Private healthcare is still available to those that want it and can afford it

I love Americans. You’re full of positive energy and attitudes, . Stephen Fry (who you may have heard of) loves the way that “only in America” is a positive whereas “only in Britain” is a negative. Surely, with such a “can do” attitude and in the greatest democracy on earth, the US can lead the world and champion a system that works without discrimination.

    HI Tom,
your story is affecting many people including me. Found out I have sleep apnea and I have been resisting the machine..until I read your posts on the stroke and recovery.

I decided I did not want to be wishing I had followed up on treatment.

So, I have my bipap machine now and I am struggling with it, but you telling your story has reminded me how important it is..so I will adapt.

In my quest to gather information about sleep apnea I started a blog to tell my story and info other people have already put out to help others decide to get help.

So, thanks for sharing. You are an inspiration and your good deeds and actions continue to ripple across the world.

    Hi Tom,

Thanks so much for caring enough to keep sharing!

Wow, you made floating around ICU seem like such an adventure. And then I read the part where they got you “safely” back into your body…

I think it’s courageous of you to address the issue of health insurance coverage for all Americans. Not just for those who can pay for it. Thank God for Diane’s intuition.

I’m Canadian and had the experience of seeing my mother go through cancer and receive the best cancer treatment available at no cost to us. By our estimates hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Socialized medicine makes a huge difference. There I’ve said it.

PS. Regarding my Post – what spurred me on to make my comments was your fact that you wrote about where Diane demanded Health Insurance and you ended up needing it. Somehow, our wives know things that we never get a clue on. I.e. one husband I knew was complaining how embarrassing it is when he wife (who has no mechanical ability at all) tells him what is wrong with the car. It’s got to be special connection to the wisdom of the universe.

I’m really glad you are improving!!

    Dear Tom

Its always wonderful to hear inspirational stories like yours. We don’t really understand what we need sometimes until it is too late. In your case, it’s wonderful that your wife was persistant with her inner knowing that you needed heath care insurance. My wish is that one day everybody will be able to afford it.

Super in deed. It is great

So glad to hear you’re making such good progress with your recovery Tom. As a UK citizen, I can’t comment too much on Health Insurance either. But I do have my moan about this country and how much I’d love to emigrate. I should on the other hand be more grateful for the NHS which has been there for me on more occacsions than I can probably recall. You need something similar in the US. I can only pray for you all that SOMEDAY soon, you all get the equal medical care that you so deserve. Keep up the Good work Tom. I’m sending you my love and hope for you 100% recovery.

  14. Michele on November 12th, 2009 6:28 am

Tom, I am so glad to hear you are recovering so quickly. I look forward to your information.

  15. sandra on November 12th, 2009 10:49 am

Thank you Tom for the Health affirmations! Sometimes I feel my affirmations aren’t working….and I know why….It’s my limited thoughts that keep getting in the way. Any suggestions on “really” clearing those limited thoughts???

I just recently started listening to Dr. Wayne Dyer…what do ya think about him?

Praises for your healing! I’ll be 50 next month and still don’t have health insurance. I’m single, 1 grown son, hairstylist/massage therapist and you were right…it’s way too expensive and I don’t make 30,000.00 yr. Any suggestions or comments will be wonderful. Thanks Tom:)

    Love and light.
